Hi my name is Peter J Harrison, I am a Freelance Web Developer that grew up in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
I currently work as a Mobile Front End Developer at Kaplan in London.
I have been working in this industry for over 6 years now and I enjoy creating websites/applications in my spare time to develop my skills and knowledge of the web.
Over the past 12 years, through work and education I have gained extensive experience in the programming languages such as HMTL5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL, XML and jQuery. I also have experience in using design software such as Photoshop and Fireworks.
The new Grosvenor Casinos homepage was a project I worked on while at Rank Interactive. My role as lead front end developer was to build the new concept using HTML, CSS3 and OO Javascript.
The idea behind the new homepage was to highlight that the Grosvenor Casinos brand is multi-channelled, meaning the user is able to play their favourite games on the website, on their mobile and within any of the land based casinos.
Oswestry Family and Local History Group are a group of approved volunteers, formed and hosted by Oswestry Library in Shropshire, UK. They are interested in family history and the local history of Oswestry and the neighbouring Shropshire/Welsh border region.
Formed in 2007 during the Discover Shropshire Project, the group undertakes cataloguing, indexing and updating of archive material and provides Family and Local History advice.
The Grosvenor Casinos Online Casino PPC Landing Page was a project I was working on while at Rank Interactive. The idea behind this project was to build a PPC landing page that could be used to drive PPC and affiliate track to in order to increase conversion rates.
Everyone’s a Winner was a campaign I worked on while at Rank Interactive. My role as lead front end developer for this campaign was to work in collaboration with the designers and information architect to produce a responsive cross device web application.
