I recently discovered a feature in WordPress that I never knew existed called Featured Image. Apparently its was added in v2.9, but I must of completely over looked it. My guessing is that this is one of the most underused features in WordPress, but is such a quick and easy to add main images to your posts or pages.
2010, An Eventful, But Good Year

Yes I know its more than half way through February, so its really a bit late to do a review of last year, but this is the first moment I have had to sit down and think about everything that has happened over the past 12 months.
Looking back at 2010 the word change comes to mind, in fact 2010 ended up being quite a busy year for me. Not only did I change jobs, I also moved to my country’s capital (London), started a new relationship and began pushing forward with the freelance work.

3 Must Have WordPress Plugins For Web Developers
Posted in Articles on July 14th, 2010
I recently finished creating a portfolio website for a friend of mine using WordPress 3.0. Since the release of 3.0 I have found creating easy to mange websites a lot easier, especially since the new menu feature was added.
But my biggest issue with WordPress through its versions is its lack of customisation of the admin panel when you have it hand it over to an inexperienced user. Even when you setup someone up as a Editor they are still inundated with menus and functionality that they will never use.
This is where 3 must have plugins came to use, and allowed me to trailer the admin dashboard to my friends needs.
